As the Fall 2011 Orlando Home and Garden Show concluded this past weekend, it is safe to say that it was a success! John Madison Landscape proudly displayed our full range of services with our eye-catching booth located near the front entrance. If you missed it, our booth included artificial turf, pavers, a pergola, a water feature, and of course, plenty of plants! We also had an “Enter to Win” area where attendees could submit their name to win a 200 square foot paver patio! We had a great time and got to meet several motivated homeowners who are interested in transforming their backyard into an outdoor oasis.
John Madison Landscape had the privilege of meeting and talking with Frank Fontana of HGTV‘s “Design on a Dime.” Frank was this year’s featured guest and gladly signed copies of his new book entitled, “Dirty Little Secrets of Design.” Frank took the stage and shared his knowledge with other homeowners about how to make your home look like a million bucks on a minuscule budget. It was a great experience to meet such a knowledgeable celebrity!
To honor the 10 year anniversary of September 11th on Sunday, the Orlando Home and Garden Show had a moment of silence for our fallen men and women of Sept 11th, 2001. Also included in the commemoration were the bagpipe players from Orange County Fire Department! The weekend’s show definitely had a very patriotic feel over all three days because the final day of the show fell on September 11th. It was great to be surrounded by so many proud Americans, as well as veterans for Building Homes for Heroes and firefighters from Orlando, Ocoee, and Hillsborough Fire Departments.
John Madison Landscape will next be at the Daytona Beach Home and Garden Show at the Ocean Center from September 23rd to 25th. Click here for more info and hopefully we’ll see you there!
